You will be part of Scandic IT, managing a team of developers while working closely with architects, product owners, business stakeholders, and external partners to deliver scalable solutions that connect our business-critical platforms and unlock new opportunities through data and AI. About the role As Tech Lead for API & Integration you will be responsible for guiding the technical direction of Scandic's integration and API landscape while supporting the adoption of AI-powered solutions and automations. You will combine strategic thinking with hands-on leadership, helping teams design, build and operate modern services and integrations that support both business growth and operational excellence. Your key responsibilities Supporting the development and governance of Scandic's API and Integration platform and services Driving API-first principles and reusable integration patterns across the organization Collaborating with business stakeholders, product owners, solution architects, lead developers and other product teams Coaching and mentoring development teams Managing and tracking team and technology budget Ensuring security, scalability, maintainability and operational excellence Supporting vendor evaluations and technical decision-making Evaluating emerging technologies and AI capabilities Contributing to Scandic's long-term technology roadmap Ready to shape the future of hospitality technology? You likely have: Extensive experience in integration, API development or solution design Experience leading technical teams or acting as technical lead in large initiatives Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and API design Experience from Azure or similar cloud platforms Knowledge of security, authentication and authorization concepts Interest or practical experience in agentic AI, automation and emerging technologies Strong communication skills and ability to bridge business and technology Used to managing employees, consultants and platform financials Experience working with vendors and external partners Fluent in Swedish and English It is considered a plus if you have experience with: Hospitality, retail or customer-facing industries Background in development Azure technologies and AI agents Identity management and access management Data warehouse platforms and analytics solutions
