Coop Sverige – Together we make food-Sweden sustainable We are looking for a Tech Lead to strengthen our Loyalty & Member team. The Loyalty & Member team owns and evolves the platforms that power Coop’s membership, partner and loyalty capabilities. About the role As Tech Lead you develop the technical roadmap for a mixed team of developers and testers, onsite and offsite. The techstack is C# / .NET and Azure, with REST APIs, messaging, and data integrations to surrounding systems. Security&compliance, scalability, and operational simplicity are first-class concerns. We aim to shorten time to market by using modern Azure services and more AI-assisted development practices to improve quality and speed. The Tech Lead role is a key player and part of our Product setup at Coop. Tech Lead together with the Product owner form a partnership, create plans, lead the team and ensure we have a clear technical direction and right solutions, making sure we deliver value to Coop members and stakeholders. The collaboration partners you will work close with are Area architects, surrounding Product teams, Staff Manager, Designers, Integration team and many more. Summary of our job description: Set the technical roadmap for the team, execute on this plan, drive the change! You will be working both with creating technical plans and targets but also hands-on as a doer in the team along with the engineers Ensure the team work towards Coop strategic and tactical goals Ensure the technical environment meets expectations related to cost, security, functions, simplicity and speed. Responsible that technical dept is managed in the team Be part of building the technical team, incl interviewing new team members and taking lead on technical onboarding Be a positive role model for the team and act in line with Coop values We work minimum 3 days from our office in Solna to ensure best collaboration Manage Cross-functional tasks with the business and other development teams Who are you? You have a solid technical background from software development and architecture. You are constructive as a person and easy to work with and have long experience of working in and with development teams. You have leadership skills and the ability to clarify the technical direction for a team and are not afraid to question the status quo to find the best solutions for the future. Solid collaboration skills are needed since you will be working together with many colleagues and surrounding teams on a daily basis. And most important, that you are a driven positive person who can, with the rest of us, ensure Coop a great place to work and contribute to our winning team To be successful as a Tech Lead, we see you have the following competence and experience: Experience leading development teams Solid experience with CICD, Deployment, automation and pipelines Experience with AI-assisted development tools Hands-on experience with Azure and Event-driven architecture Solid experience designing and building .NET / C# services and REST APIs Experience in external system integrations Understanding about relational databases and SQL (MS SQL Server or similar) Experience in unit and integration testing Experience working in an agile setup (e.g. SAFe / Scrum) with Jira/Azure DevOps Experience working with offshore teams and external partners English skills are mandatory, Swedish is a big merit It’s a merit if you have: Experience in SSD, Spec-Driven Development Retail, membership, or loyalty domain experience Containerization (Docker) and/or Kubernetes Experience in privacy-by-design in customer-facing systems About us The grocery trade is a stable, long-term industry, and Coop’s offering is essential to the transition toward a greener, more sustainable future.
