About the Assignment We are currently looking for an experienced and driven Senior Technical Engineer specializing in Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and ServiceNow for an exciting consulting assignment within a large international organization. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, implementing and optimizing Hardware Asset Management processes and solutions within a complex enterprise technology environment. Your primary focus will be establishing scalable and efficient hardware lifecycle management processes, ensuring seamless integration between systems, improving asset data quality and enabling automation. You will collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders and external partners to drive improvements across the entire hardware asset lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Design and implement end-to-end Hardware Asset Management processes covering hardware deployment, replacement, repair, return, reuse and retirement. Configure, develop and optimize ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) structures, workflows and lifecycle processes. Establish and maintain accurate asset data, lifecycle states and system integrations. Identify opportunities for automation to reduce manual administration and improve operational efficiency. Develop scalable HAM solutions supporting complex enterprise environments and hardware operations. Collaborate with hardware teams, ServiceNow specialists, business stakeholders and external partners. Define and document processes, governance models, KPIs and operational procedures. Drive technical implementation activities from initial solution design through deployment and operational handover. Ensure sustainable documentation, knowledge transfer and continuous process improvement. Provide technical leadership and guidance across multiple teams and stakeholders. Your Background & Qualifications We are looking for a senior-level Technical Engineer with extensive experience in Hardware Asset Management, ServiceNow and enterprise technology environments. Required Qualifications Strong hands-on experience in Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and hardware lifecycle management. Advanced practical experience with ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management, including asset structures, lifecycle processes, integrations, data quality and automation. Proven experience designing, implementing and improving scalable HAM processes in complex organizations. Strong understanding of hardware asset lifecycle processes, including deployment, maintenance, repair, replacement and retirement. Experience establishing governance frameworks, operational processes and performance indicators. Proven ability to independently lead technical implementations from solution design through operational handover. Strong experience collaborating across multiple technical teams, business stakeholders and external partners. Excellent anatical, troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities. Strong documentation and knowledge-transfer skills. Meritorious Experience Experience with POS (Point of Sale) systems and retail checkout hardware. Knowledge of hardware logistics, repair processes and Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Experience with field services and distributed hardware environments. Experience with ServiceNow integrations and workflow automation. Previous involvement in large-scale Hardware Asset Management transformations.
