Technology Disaster Recovery Manager

we are looking for: Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in business continuity and disaster recovery, including program ownership, DR exercise leadership, and infrastructure or application architecture in multi-cloud environments (e.g., AWS and Azure). (Required) Working knowledge of operating systems, networking, cloud technology, and security tools, with an understanding of relevant security and infrastructure standards and regulations. (Required) Experience with cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory compliance (e.g., DORA, NIST, ISO 27701/27000, ISO 22301, SOX; FedRAMP a plus). (Preferred) Experience with chaos and cloud engineering, and AI-assisted testing or recovery validation. (Preferred) Experience with BC/DR planning software and notification systems. (Preferred) Experience in emergency management, incident management, and reporting. (Preferred) Experience interfacing and communicating with executives in a crisis and continuity capacity. (Preferred) CORE COMPETENCIES Influences and collaborates effectively across functional teams without direct authority, including with senior business and engineering leaders, and facilitates meetings for cross-functional audiences. Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate disaster recovery risk and strategy for both executive and technical audiences. Leads multiple projects autonomously, applying strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a practical mindset that balances compliance and business needs. EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS 4-year / bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, a related field, or business administration, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. Relevant certification in business continuity, disaster recovery, or resilience disciplines (e.g., CBCP, CBRITP, MBCI).
