Test Automation Engineer - Experience within CAPL

<p><strong>Do you want to work hands-on with CAPL-based test automation in automotive HIL environments?</strong></p><p>Nexer Engineering is looking for Test Automation Engineers for assignments within the automotive industry in Sweden.</p><p>The focus is on CAPL development for automated testing in HIL environments, with strong emphasis on software verification and test execution.</p><hr><h3>Your role</h3><p>You will work close to embedded software and system verification, with a clear focus on CAPL-driven test automation in HIL setups.</p><p>Responsibilities include:</p><ul><li><p>Developing and maintaining automated test scripts in CAPL</p></li><li><p>Executing and monitoring automated test runs in HIL environments</p></li><li><p>Analyzing test results and reporting deviations and defects</p></li><li><p>Supporting integration of automated tests in CI environments</p></li><li><p>Working closely with developers and test engineers in embedded systems projects</p></li></ul><hr><h3>Your profile</h3><ul><li><p>Experience in software testing and/or test automation</p></li><li><p>Hands-on experience with CAPL (mandatory or highly preferred depending on role level)</p></li><li><p>Experience from embedded software or automotive test environments (HIL/SIL)</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of software testing processes and V&V workflows</p></li><li><p>Open to both junior and senior profiles</p></li></ul><hr><h3>Nice to have</h3><ul><li><p>Experience with SQL or database handling in test contexts</p></li><li><p>Experience from automotive industry projects in Sweden</p></li><li><p>CI/CD and continuous integration test automation experience</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of automotive testing standards and processes</p></li><li><p>Swedish language skills both speach and written</p></li><li><p>A valid Swedish B driver's license</p></li></ul><hr><h3>Why Nexer Engineering?</h3><p>We provide consultancy assignments focused on automotive software and test automation, with opportunities to work in structured embedded environments and long-term development paths.</p><hr><h3>Apply</h3><p>If you have CAPL experience and work within automotive test automation, we would like to hear from you.</p>
