Test Consultant to New Cash Ledger

Description New Cash Ledger - Reporting and re-integration stream need to source data products from GCP. To ensure reliable and correct data we need to validate the data in the data products prior to being used in reporting and re-integration. We are looking for an experienced Test Consultant with a strong focus on data validation and business scenario testing for account-related products on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role is centered around ensuring that data accurately reflects real-world account scenarios and business logic. Key Responsibilities • Design and execute data-focused test cases based on account lifecycle scenarios (e.g., account opening, transactions, changes, closures) • Validate data content and correctness across data products and pipelines • Ensure that business rules and product logic are correctly represented in the data • Perform data validation and reconciliation using SQL • Define and maintain test scenarios reflecting real-life account behavior and edge cases • Work with test management tools (e.g., Xray) to structure and track testing • Validate and monitor data quality using tools such as Collibra Data Quality • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and data engineers • Contribute to improving data test methodologies and structured ways of working Required Competence and Experience • Certified tester (e.g., ISTQB or equivalent) • Strong understanding of test methodology with focus on functional and data testing • Proven experience in data validation and scenario-based testing • Experience as a system tester with a strong data focus • Hands-on experience in SQL for data verification and analysis • Good understanding of data flows and transformations in modern data platforms (preferably GCP) • Experience working with test tools such as Xray • Familiarity with data quality tools (e.g., Collibra Data Quality) • Ability to translate business scenarios into structured test cases Preferred Qualifications • Experience in account and payments domain • Understanding of regulatory reporting and data accuracy requirements • Experience testing data products or analytical datasets • Familiarity with data governance frameworks (e.g., BCBS-239, DORA) • Experience within financial products and the financial services industry is considered a strong bonus Explicitly Out of Scope • Integration testing • Performance or load testing • Deep technical testing of infrastructure Startdatum : 2026-09-01 Slutdatum : 2026-12-30 Omfattning : 100% Ort : Solna Språk : Svenska och Engelska We are reviewing applications on an ongoing basis, and this request may close before the stated deadline .
