Today, our technology moves freight across North America, Europe, and the Middle East for some of the world's biggest shippers.The Tech Operations team deploys and maintains Einride’s autonomous electric trucks at customer sites, bringing our technology from theory to reality. You’ll join an ambitious, collaborative team focused on reshaping the future of freight. Your mission when joining as a Test Engineer is to ensure our autonomous electric trucks operate safely and reliably across closed test tracks and real-world environments. As the critical link between software development and field validation, your work directly impacts product safety and release quality as you combine hands-on vehicle testing, diagnostics, and data analysis. Thriving in this role takes a safety-focused mindset, flexibility, meticulous attention to detail, and clear communication. You willDesign, plan & execute test cases for autonomous drive software and hardware in the complete vehicle systems at closed tracks and real-world conditions.Perform hands-on field and vehicle testing, compiling results, reports, address issues & topics for improvement towards the engineering teams.Be part of ensuring that our autonomous electric truck solution gets successfully installed and delivers on their promise of efficiency, safety, and reliability in the dynamic, unpredictable environments of public roads and customer sites.Perform data collections & analysis from customer sites and other real world environments. We expect you toHold at least a High School diploma.Have a Truck driving license (C-license).Be experienced in vehicle diagnostics, fault tracing, software integration and field testing of complete vehicle systems.Bring prior experience in verification & validation or testing within automotive systems.Experience from working with Autonomous Drive Systems (ADS) platforms or ADAS.Demonstrate written and verbal fluency in English. This is a full-time position based in Gothenburg at the Einride office, with at least 50% of the time spent on the test track AstaZero as well as occasional customer and other stakeholder visits.
