For our client we are looking for a Test Object Uptime Engineer. The department The Test vehicles&logistics department is responsible for the test vehicles continuous life cycle during the development process. Their fleet consist of various types of vehicles and brands in the organization. The department consists of sub departments: • Senior advanced Fault tracer/SWDL. • Vehicle management. • Test vehicle fault trace/uptime engineer. • Logistics. They are involved throughout the entire process, from planning & defining content to coordinating test vehicle build and usage, including material order to delivery tracking and to secure the latest SW baseline. This is a cross functional team working closely to ensure the test vehicle usage is optimized and fit for test in accordance with the purpose of build. The typical task of the Test vehicle team is to take on the issues raised by the users of the test vehicles. The test vehicles are located at various locations depending on the test type. The majority is located at their workshop site at Säve and Uni3 at Lindholmen, but test vehicles can also be at other proving grounds in Sweden, EU, CN and US. We secure that the fleet is ready when going out on tests. This team is located at Test site Säve, Gothenburg. Description of the assignment • Delivery service before registration and handover to users. • Harness and ETC builds for project requests. • Electrical and mechanical fault tracing. • Update software, hardware on request(workorders). • Repair work. • De prep after life cycle. • Electrical fault tracing raised from rebuild where the configurations are not fully developed and integrated. • Support the product development work by. • Updating test vehicles according to project requests. • Support at suppliers • Participating in expeditions • Secure timely deliveries with right quality. • Support the daily work in the workshop. • Maintaining good order in the workshop(5S) Qualifications and skills required for the role. Bachelor degree in electrical engineering, or long practical work experience within the area. Preferably minimum 5 years’ experience as a workshop technician for complete vehicles. Experience in electrical fault tracing using computer and relevant analysis tools (DSA, ZDS, etc). Good complete vehicle knowledge (HW/EV). Good computer knowledge Drivers license B Intermediate level in English, oral and written. Meriterious Experience from working with measurement and analyzing tools such as CANoe,CANalyzer and INCA is a merit. Certificate for HV-work (power up/power down) Certificate for hot work Forklift license. Personal attributes Team player with a strive for cooperation. Strong self-leadership doer mentality. Driven and motivated to take front position in problem-solving situations. Structured and self-confident in communicating within the organisation Other Domestic and international travel is required for this role to support expeditions of site, can be notified in short notice.
