We are looking for a Senior Tester / Technical Test Consultant for one on our Clients Context For a large transformation program covering both B2C and B2B business areas we are looking for a senior, hands-on test consultant who can work independently, understand technical integrations and support both structured test execution and business-facing test activities.The program modernizes core business processes, customer journeys, integrations and supporting platforms across the Client's commercial and operational landscape. The B2C scope includes consumer-facing journeys, order handling, billing-related flows, customer support processes, migration activities and integration with retained systems. The B2B scope includes business customer capabilities across fixed, mobile and connectivity-related services, including integrations, portals and operational processes. B2C and B2B are delivered as separate tracks, but they share key platform components, functionality, queues and events, which creates a strong need for structured regression testing and close test coordination. Testing is therefore a critical activity to secure quality, reduce late defects and support stable business readiness before go-live. The Test Team works closely with business testers, solution teams, vendors and delivery streams to prepare, execute and follow up on SIT, UAT and BAT activities. Assignment This role is suited for an ISTQB certified senior technical tester who is comfortable working hands-on with test case design, execution, API testing, Postman, Azure DevOps and business-facing BAT support. The consultant will be part of the central test team and will work closely with test leads, business testers, solution architects, vendors and delivery teams. The role requires a senior tester who can both write and execute test cases, understand technical integrations and support business testers during BAT execution. BAT — Business Acceptance Testing — is the test phase where our Client's business users validate that the solution supports real operational processes and customer journeys before go-live. The consultant supports business testers through BAT preparation and execution: clarifying test cases assisting with evidence collection raising and following up on defects translating findings between business users, test leads, technical teams and vendors. Key responsibilities and deliverables Write, review and execute test cases. Support BAT business testers during preparation and execution — test case clarification, execution support, evidence collection and defect follow-up. Validate end-to-end flows across systems, integrations and business processes. Perform technical testing of APIs and integrations. Use Postman for API testing, validation and troubleshooting. Register, execute and follow up on test cases in Azure DevOps. Create clear defect descriptions with evidence, expected result, actual result and business impact. Support defect clarification and retest activities. Work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors. Contribute to structured test reporting, progress follow-up and risk clarification. Required experience Senior testing profile with strong hands-on execution experience. ISTQB certified tester. Experience with writing and executing structured test cases. Experience from telecom or similar complex IT environments. Knowledge of mobile, fixed and/or fibre internet services. Strong technical understanding and ability to work across business and IT. Experience with API testing. Strong hands-on experience with Postman. Experience with Azure DevOps, preferably Azure Test Plans. Experience with supporting BAT, UAT or similar business-facing test phases. Ability to work independently and drive issues to resolution. Strong communication skills in English. Preferred experience Experience with large transformation programmes. Experience with end-to-end testing across multiple integrated systems. Experience with migration testing or testing on migrated data. Experience with defect triage and test coordination. Experience from telecom B2C and/or B2B domains. Personal profile Structured, pragmatic and quality-focused. Able to work hands-on in a high-pressure test phase. Good at collaborating with both business users and technical teams. Clear and precise in defect reporting and follow-up. Comfortable working with uncertainty, dependencies and changing priorities. Proactive in identifying risks, blockers and missing test prerequisites.
