Assignment Description We are looking for a Legal Counsel – Trade & ESG What You Will Work On Provide legal support to customs and trade teams Support trade compliance processes and process improvements Monitor and assess regulatory developments related to ESG and trade Advise the organization on actions required to maintain regulatory compliance Support implementation of third-party due diligence governance models Provide legal support related to CSDDD Support implementation of EUDR and EUBR Manage national modern slavery reporting requirements Support trade compliance risk assessments Advise on regulatory supply chain due diligence requirements Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization Communicate regulatory changes and their business impact to relevant stakeholders What You Bring 4–6 years of relevant experience in trade compliance and ESG Strong experience with trade compliance matters Experience with operational trade compliance activities and risk assessments Experience with regulatory supply chain due diligence Knowledge of ESG-related regulatory requirements Experience working with CSDDD, EUDR, EUBR, or similar regulations Ability to monitor, interpret, and communicate regulatory developments Experience working in cross-functional environments Strong legal and analytical skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to provide practical legal advice in a changing regulatory environment
