Underwriting Representative

With bold growth plans and strong momentum across multiple markets, we’re now looking for a Underwriting Representative for the next phase of growth. About the Role As an Underwriting Representative, you will bridge credit evaluation and direct customer engagement to drive portfolio growth. You will take end-to-end ownership of lead conversion and account expansion, ensuring financial products align with business customer needs across our scaling financial systems. Key responsibilities Evaluate credit applications using quantitative financial data and qualitative borrower insights. Engage directly with business clients via phone to assess product fit and identify funding requirements. Execute targeted upselling and cross-selling initiatives to increase account value across existing portfolios. Convert qualified incoming leads into active accounts through structured follow-ups and rapid execution. Collaborate with internal risk and commercial teams to optimize lead workflows and approval conversion. What we’re looking for You bring a structured approach to phone-based relationship management and credit execution. You thrive when given full ownership of client interactions, driven by a desire to build scalable commercial routines within a fast-moving fintech environment. Qualifications A couple of years of background in sales, insurance, finance, or commercial banking. Demonstrated experience in direct client management via phone, including account expansion, cross-selling, and upselling. Fluent in English and at least one Scandinavian language (Swedish, Norwegian, or Danish) Familiarity with financial products, credit risk principles, and business funding models. Why Qred?
