Together we can do great things! We are looking for UX Leader to help establish and grow UX as a strategic capability within Supply Chain Development. As one of the first dedicated UX leaders in the organization, you will have a unique opportunity to shape our direction, influence how digital products are developed, and create lasting improvements for thousands of users globally. Through your UX expertise, coaching, and leadership, you will influence product teams, stakeholders, and decision-makers to build more user-centered solutions. You will balance long-term capability building with delivering visible improvements that demonstrate the value of UX from day one. Your work will support the whole SCD organization, with the most important business priorities and the end-users as your guiding star. You will be based in one of the Capability Areas in SCD called Supply Chain Planning Development, close to digital development teams. Your task is to lead and inspire development teams to create more value for our end-users, by inspiring, effective, and user-centric experiences that make the everyday life of more than 20,000 IKEA co-workers who works with supply planning, forecasting, replenishment and optimizing the whole IKEA Supply Chain, more rewarding and efficient! You will be supported by not only your peers and direct manager, but also by many other key stakeholders who look forward to establishing a strong UX team in SCD together with you. This is just the beginning! Job Description The UX leaders will help teams make better decisions based on user insights, increase UX maturity across Supply Chain Development, reduce friction in key user journeys, and ensure our digital products create measurable value for the people who use them every day. We can´t wait to hear your thoughts on how to get there! As a UX Leader, you will: Drive the development of UX capabilities across Supply Chain Development. Coach product and platform teams in user-centred design practices. Establish and promote common UX methods, standards, and ways of working. Build strong connections with relevant IKEA UX communities and networks. Help teams identify and address root causes behind user challenges. Advocate for user needs and ensure user insights inform decision-making. Facilitate workshops and activities that drive alignment, engagement, and tangible outcomes. Define, measure, and continuously improve user experience outcomes. To start with, we need your help in addressing the challenges we see today: development is sometimes done too far from end users. We lack complete user journey ownership. Too many workarounds exist to compensate for lack of capabilities within digital products and finally, we need a stronger end-user mindset and enhanced UX competence in the whole organization! Qualifications We want you to be a natural leader with high interest and competence in the UX field. You will primarily work together with and through the digital product teams, so your talent in collaboration, communication and visualizing the glorious future will be a great asset in this journey! Ten thousands of co-workers are depending on the tools and solutions we create which helps these co-workers to improve product availability for the customer shopping in our stores, online and other touchpoints. So, being service minded about user outcomes should be top-of-mind. We expect you also to be passionate about efficiency. Imagine every co-worker wasting 1 minute/day looking for information. That is 25 000 minutes or 416 hours of efficiency potential just in one day! To be successful in this role, the following key skills and experiences would be valuable: Ability and experience of leading and supporting initiatives and mindset shifts in digital development organizations! Extensive experience in UX with a solid portfolio that demonstrates the ability to create impactful experiences for end-users in a global context including user research, journey mapping, service design, prototyping, and usability testing. Outstanding communication skills – both written and verbal - with the ability to inspire and engage through compelling storytelling. Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down complex information and present it in a clear, engaging manner. Experience working for, or with, an IKEA company is preferable, to understand the operational complexity and the way our business works. Proven ability to facilitate workshops that produce tangible results and create lasting impact. Additional information We look forward to receiving your application in English.
