UX/UI Designer (focus on UI and component-based web design)

For our client we are looking for a UX/UI Designer (focus on UI and component-based web design). Assignment description We are looking for a UX/UI designer with a strong focus on UI. The end goal of our solutions is to provide actionable insights based on machine data to make industrial machines run longer, and this positions us at the center of turning strategy of intelligent and clean growth into reality. The project involves developing a web application that offers exceptional user experience and allows our users to detect machinery issues confidently and quickly. What you can expect in the role Crafting software that meets users’ needs and enhances their experience is both rewarding and challenging, and you’ll do so by: • Cooperating closely with our UI Lead, product owners and Chief product owner to suggest different solutions to defined needs. • Drive standardization and inform/educate development teams on design rules. • Doing A/B testing or otherwise verifying designs before implementation. • Testing/verifying the UI Design that the developers have implemented. • Maintain a culture of competence, growth, innovation, and fun. • Working with stakeholders to understand needs • Participate in scrum ceremonies. • Brainstorm, share insights, and collectively create something impactful. Requirements: • Deep knowledge and understanding of working with Figma and designs and especially working with component-based web design. • Strong communication skills. • Strong personal drive to get things done in an environment characterized by autonomous teams and high trust in the individual. • Preference towards collaboration and teamwork. Ask for help when needed and help others when being asked to support. • Curious and a strong willingness to learn our domain, the products we build and the environment we operate in. • Experience with agile development methodologies is required. • Fluent in English, Fluency in Swedish is meritorious. • Experience of working with industrial applications is meritorious but not required. • Understanding TCP/IP communication and MQTT is meritorious but not required.
