Verification Engineer
Assignment Description The Role As a Lab Engineer specializing in cell testing, you will be part of a dedicated team focused on characterizing and benchmarking lithium-ion cells. You will have a direct impact in the earliest phase of our product development, helping to identify which cells are best suited for future tools and machines. Tasks Typical responsibilities include: Benchmarking and comparing different cell suppliers and chemistries to support sourcing and design decisions. Participating in early-stage development projects to gather data for cell selection and performance evaluation. Developing and maintaining test methods for cell testing Analyzing results, identifying deviations or unexpected behaviors, and clearly communicating findings in structured and detailed test reports. Supporting continuous improvement projects within the T&V Team. Due to the nature of the work, this position requires on-site presence at our laboratory in Huskvarna. You will report to the Test & Verification Manager and collaborate closely with colleagues in both Sweden and Germany. At the same time, you maintain focus and attention to detail even during repetitive test cycles, ensuring that results are accurate, reproducible, and meaningful. Analytical thinking, patience, and precision are second nature to you, and you take pride in the quality of your work. Qualifications: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electronics, Mechatronics, Physics, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience as a laboratory engineer or in a similar hands-on technical role. Experience with data acquisition tools (oscilloscope, multimeter, temperature logger, etc.). Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with an eye for detail. Good teamwork and communication skills; experience working in international environments is an advantage. Proficiency in English (both written and spoken). Meritorious: Interest or experience in battery cell technology.
