Vice President, Global Fulfillment and Logistics
NVIDIA’s fulfillment and logistics function operates at a scale and pace that has no parallel in the semiconductor industry. As VP of Global Fulfillment and Logistics, you will own end-to-end warehouse and logistics strategy and delivery worldwide: inbound freight from a distributed supplier base (including TSMC, Samsung, Foxconn, and others), outbound fulfillment to enterprise customers, 3PL and carrier partnerships, trade compliance, and distribution network strategy. You will lead a distributed team across the US, Asia and EMEA, and a provider network that completes work at many times that scale. We are a high-service function. We move fast, we respond, and we do what it takes to make the company successful. That speed rests on fundamentals: reporting that matches what is physically on the floor, triggers for critical issues agreed upon before they arise, and one voice into every provider. We are looking for an operator who has run distribution centers personally and built global networks, not a strategist who has directed them. You will report directly to the VP Supply Chain and operate as a key member of the Operations leadership team. What You’ll Be Doing: Global Logistics Planning and Implementation Develop and execute a scalable global logistics strategy that optimizes freight, fulfillment, and distribution across all geographies, driving total cost of ownership — including landed cost, inventory carrying, and service impact — rather than freight rates alone. Warehouse and Supply Chain Network Own NVIDIA's global warehouse and distribution network — including site development, cost, and finished goods positioning — with a focus on managing the peak-cycle concentration that defines this role: four times a year, most of the quarter's volume ships in its final weeks at rack scale, with insured value, security, and handling capacity as the binding constraints, not square footage. Inbound and Outbound Freight Build and manage global freight networks across air, ocean, and ground — spanning inbound from a complex supplier base to outbound enterprise fulfillment — optimizing modes, routes, and carrier relationships to handle demand fluctuations without compromising delivery commitments. Oversight of Third-Party Logistics and Carrier Operations Own all third-party logistics partnerships and carrier relationships globally while driving contract negotiations and SLA development, hold partners accountable to performance, and consolidate or rationalize the provider base where it creates leverage as well as benchmark continuously against market guidelines. Network Risk and Continuity Proactively identify and mitigate network disruption risks — including single points of failure, geographic concentration, and regulatory, tariff, and geopolitical factors — with documented mitigations and decision triggers that are tested before they are needed. Reporting Integrity and Systems of Record Own shipment and delivery-note accuracy as an operational control — not an administrative function — ensuring the system of record and physical reality stay in sync, aged records are dispositioned promptly, and the operating picture the company plans against matches what the warehouse floor actually sees. Compliance and Controls Ensure NVIDIA's global logistics operations remain fully compliant across import/export regulations, sanctions, and tariff requirements — anticipating regulatory and geopolitical shifts before they affect the supply chain — while maintaining the same rigor internally by partnering with Controllership and Internal Audit on revenue recognition timing, transfer of control, bill-and-hold conditions, offsite custody, hold-status reconciliation, and free trade zone handling, treating any gap between system status and physical reality as a control issue, not an operational one. Financial Ownership and Benchmark Management Own the global logistics cost base — including annual expense budgets, capital plans, and inventory projections — and build real-time measurement systems that track and drive improvement across key metrics: on-time delivery, freight cost per unit, inventory turns, capacity utilization, and total cost to serve. Team Leadership Build and continuously develop a high-caliber logistics organization — attracting outstanding talent, empowering teams to move fast and learn from failures, and owning hiring and structure as the function scales. What We Need to See: 20+ years in global logistics or supply chain and 8+ years in management, with demonstrated growth in scope and seniority and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related technical field required. Advanced degree (MBA or Master’s) strongly preferred. Extensive, practical knowledge in freight, customs, and distribution functions, with direct responsibility for distribution center results at scale and during peak periods: labor planning, efficiency, staging, slotting, and inventory accuracy. Presence on the floor, not distant supervision. A track record of building and scaling global distribution networks rather than only running inherited ones: site selection, footprint expansion, node development, and standing up new capacity. Established background in handling worldwide freight across air, sea, and land, coordinating multi-region 3PL collaborations, and maintaining customs and trade adherence at scale. Recognizes that a fulfillment operation falls within the SOX reporting scope: transfer of control and revenue recognition timing, bill-and-hold conditions, timing of goods issuance, custody and risk of loss, as well as inventory write-downs and material movements. When the work is outsourced, the provider’s controls are considered ours, and auditors will request to review them. Trade and regulatory expertise extending past customs brokerage: free trade zone and bonded treatment, duty deferral, country of origin, export classification and sanctions screening, in an environme
